Vivian F. Credidio,
Ph.D.

Dr. Vivian F. Credidio is a licensed clinical and consulting psychologist, and the Director of Psychological Wellness, a private practice group in Manhattan Beach, California. She specializes in the emotional and psychological treatment of individuals, couples and families of diverse ethnic and racial backgrounds. Dr. Credidio is a public speaker who addresses corporate, medical, university and community audiences.

As a consulting psychologist at Providence Little Company of Mary Hospital in Torrance and San Pedro, CA, Dr. Credidio specializes in Physician Wellbeing, including physician-centered interventions, program assessment and development, organizational consulting, and evidence-based presentations.

For many years, Dr. Credidio has served as a Consulting Associate at the University of Southern California Psychology Department, where she has taught and trained Ph.D. psychology students in evidence-based, clinical/therapeutic interventions of individuals, couples, and families.

Prior academic roles at the University of Southern California include clinical consultant, professor and Visiting Scholar at the University of Southern California Psychology Department. In addition to training Ph.D. students, she has taught Theories of Personalities to upper division undergraduate students.

Athletic Department Psychologist, University of Southern California. Dr. Credidio served as Consulting Psychologist providing counseling to student athletes and coaches and developing programs to address the psycho-social concerns experienced by NCAA student athletes and coaches.

In her early career, Dr. Credidio held a tenure track position at California State University, Long Beach, University Counseling Center. She specialized in the psychological wellbeing of university students and faculty.

Dr. Credidio earned her Ph.D. and M.A. in Clinical Psychology from the University of Southern California and her B.A. in Psychology from the University of California, Los Angeles.
